Job Summary:
The position of Associate Territory Manager (ATM) within BD-Peripheral Intervention is responsible for selling all product lines in the territory assigned to him/her. The ATM will have as his/her main customers hospitals and clinics in the territory where he/she works.
The principal objective of this position is to sell our products to doctors, nurses, paramedics, purchasing agents and hospital administrators through face-to-face contact in order to maximize sales opportunities and achieve established targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Achieve or exceed established annual sales quota.
Make presentations on behalf of the Company at seminars and congresses.
Organize roundtable meetings.
Assist in training healthcare professionals on BD products.
Promote all BD products to target customers.
Develop new accounts by identifying key decision makers and influencers.
Build strong relationships with existing customers.
Maintain a detailed record keeping system including accurate documentation of compliance training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
Minimum three years of successful sales experience with medical devices or pharmaceuticals required.
Experience in peripheral interventions preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
Highly motivated and self-directed individual capable of working independently with little supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary.
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external customers, physicians and administrative personnel in a variety of settings.
Valid driver's license with good driving record, ability to obtain valid driver's licenses in different countries if needed.
Travel Requirements: >75%
