Description

Symmetrio is recruiting for their client, a medical device and software manufacturer, a Clinical Specialist with expertise in liver tumor ablation to support their cutting-edge interventional oncology solutions. The Clinical Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, providing clinical education, case support, and training to healthcare professionals.  This individual will also work closely with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to drive product adoption, ensure optimal patient outcomes, and support ongoing clinical research efforts. 

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 depending on experience. Candidates must reside near a major airport, as the position requires up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site case support for liver tumor ablation procedures, ensuring safe and effective product use.
  • Train physicians, nurses, and radiology/oncology teams on best practices, clinical techniques, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as the primary clinical resource for new product launches and clinical evaluations.
  • Partner with sales teams to support pre-sales and post-sales clinical activities.
  • Assist in product demonstrations, workshops, and conference presentations to promote adoption.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to sales and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with R&D and clinical research teams to provide user feedback and contribute to product improvements.
  • Assist in clinical trials, data collection, and case study development.
  • Stay updated on the latest clinical research, guidelines, and advancements in liver tumor ablation.



Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in interventional radiology, oncology, or liver tumor ablation (RF, microwave, cryoablation, or IRE).
  • Certifications: Clinical credentials such as ARRT, RN, RCIS, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ablation technologies and liver cancer treatments.
  • Excellent communication and teaching abilities.
  • Comfortable with travel (50%) to hospitals, training sites, and conferences.
