Clinical Specialist (Contract Opportunity)

Summary: 

The Clinical Specialist is a clinical leader in the delivery of Resident Care that supports any Thrive community that has an opening in the leadership nursing role of Vice President of Resident Experience (VPRX). The Clinical Specialist will participate in the onboarding and training of the new clinical leader (VPRX). While assuming the interim role of VPRX, you are responsible for all resident care including but not limited to, quality monitoring of services, training, regulatory compliance and implementation of policies, forms, and processes. This role may also assist in the selection process of any new VPRX/AVPRX.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Serving heart for older adults.


• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.


• At least 5 years’ experience as a nurse and at least 2 years in senior living.


• Great judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to travel.

Areas of responsibility:

• Assisted living and Memory care.


• Regulatory compliance.


• Training.


• Active participation in selection process for VPRX vacancies.


• Serve as interim VPRX for all open VPRX roles.

Additional Information:

• This is a contract role.


• Works closely with and receives assignments from the Director of Clinical and Compliance.


• Experience in Nurse Management highly recommended and preferred.
