How You Will Make a Difference

At STERIS SPM, Client Services Account Managers serve as the primary partner with our Customers to ensure our software is meeting their needs and enhancing the operation of their sterile processing departments. As part of that partnership, our goal each year is for every Customer to receive an upgrade and use the latest features in a successful manner. Client Services Account Managers are responsible for leading customers through this upgrade process in addition to other Customer-focused initiatives. STERIS SPM Customers are among the biggest and brightest healthcare organizations throughout the US and beyond and they expect high quality support. As a Client Services Account Manager with STERIS SPM, you are expected to provide excellent support to our Customers, meet high expectations, and develop a strong partnership with our Customers so that our software and support provides a valuable contribution to them realizing their own mission and goals each year.


 


This is a remote based customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following states: Oregon and California.


What You Will Do


  • Maintain and Grow SPM Business

  • Assist current Customers with identifying additional solutions to help them increase their utilization of SPM (interfaces, modules, mobile hand scanners).

  • Lead and deliver Customer onsite work

  • Act as the leader and Project Manager for annual software upgrades

  • Ensure adoption of new business products and services

  • Implement sell-in new features and best practices

  • Identify cost-management opportunities in the territory

  • Develop and manage Customer Relationships

  • Provide training and Customer support to help Customers increases their utilization with SPM and satisfaction with the product

  • Proactively engage Customers and maintain regular contact

  • Develop specific strategies to increase number of Growth Accounts within the territory

  • Work with other field sales and services teams to maintain a current understanding of account dynamics and organizational change


Required Experience


  • Bachelors' degree preferred, or Associate degree with equivalent experience,

  • 5 years of experience with software account management, project management and/or customer service required

  • Knowledge of hospital SPD processes and environment, preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work strategically and effectively collaborate with others

  • Ability to engage others intellectually and empathetically

  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers through behaviors and subject matter expertise

  • Working knowledge of company, market, industry, and competition

  • Proficiency with MS Office and ability to utilize CRM and other systems, tools.

  • Ability to travel as necessary (overnight)

  • Proficient in effectively discussing software, technology, and networking requirements with IT professionals, and following up, when necessary.

  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.

 Pay range for this opportunity is $67,060.00 - $90,279.00.This position is eligible for commission.


 


Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
