A Day in the Life

The Director of Capital Sales Support is responsible for delivering profitable growth in our Capital portfolio within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions business unit. This individual will work to identify, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing, diverse team of Capital Sales professionals across our CAS team. Key to success will be forging productive cross-functional relationships across the CAS leadership team, including sales, upstream marketing, research and development, finance. This position will lead the annual business planning process for the US, from forecasting, budgeting, contracting, supporting key customer evaluations, collateral development, and staffing/prioritizing focus. Key financial metrics include performance versus annual revenue and growth, share, and EBIT targets. This role will be field based and cover the US and reports to the Vice President of sales, Cardiac Ablation Solutions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Developing, executing, and communicating strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Building and leading a team of Sales Managers - including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee sales processes and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive product development initiatives.
  • Partnering with cross-functional support teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Monitoring sales performance metrics and KPIs and implementing measures to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Managing and overseeing the annual budgeting process for the defined Sales Area.
  • Taking a data-driven approach to managing multiple sales regions and extract actionable insights to improve performance and results.
  • Collaborating with the VP of Sales and other Area Directors of Sales to build and oversee strategic plans for increased market share and expansion.

Basic Qualifications

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree

  • 10 years of relevant sales experience with 7 years of sales management/leadership experience, with a focus on capital selling

OR

Advanced degree

  • 8 years of relevant sales experience with 6 years of sales management/leadership experience, with a focus on capital selling

Additional Job Requirements

  • Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation
  • Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise
  • Required to travel outside of their assigned territory and possibility overnight
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have valid passport
  • Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers
  • Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application. Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$150,000.00 - $150,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
