We are searching for a talented Pharmacist-Clinical Specialist-ID 

 

Hours: 40hrs  

Shift: Day shift 8:00am - 4:30pm   

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA; This position will be working primarily from St Luke's Hospital, in New Bedford MA, with occasional travel to Tobey Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director, Pharmacy Services, plan, organize, monitor and carry out duties in support of the Antimicrobial Management Program to optimize clinical outcome, promote cost effective treatment and improve care while minimizing unintended effects of infectious disease care within Southcoast. Integrate the Antimicrobial Management Program with patient safety and quality improvement initiatives as outlined by Medicare, Joint Commission, and other agencies where appropriate antimicrobial use is monitored (e.g. Medicare National Pneumonia Project CAP, Medicare Surgical Care Improvement Project, and Joint Commission Core Measures).

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Current valid State Pharmacy License.
  • Residency in an ASHP accredited program and/or Infectious Disease Fellowship preferred.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred. Over one year experience required.
  • A Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range

USD $120,556.80 - USD $151,278.40 /Yr.
