Position Information:
Responsible for providing physical therapy services by evaluating patients establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices. Β Observing evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly. Β Identifying strengths and weaknesses and facilitate clinical excellence of staff therapists and assistants through education coaching mentoring and process development. In coordination with department leadership provides input into departmental staff development program development standards of professional practice and clinical competence. Β The primary setting for this position is split between two outpatient cardiopulmonary clinics. Β Populations served include COPD dysautonomia cardiac disease pre and post CT surgery and other acute and chronic cardiac and pulmonary conditions.
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Clinical - Physical Therapy Required - And 1 Year Direct Position Experience Preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Required - And Master's Degree Physical Therapy Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Physical Therapist Required - And Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability Preferred
