Gain empathy for the customer experience to inform direction of the Customer Centered Design team for your product group
Participate in business decisions discussions and implement strategic goals from leadership across the product winning concepts and designs
Gain an understanding of the business needs and long-term objectives for the proposed solutions
Partner with teams across the organization to ensure existing knowledge and platforms are leveraged
Lead and conduct initial exploration processes to determine how to satisfy customer needs and how people experience health care through elegant designs
Utilize Human-centered design, Outcome Driven Innovation (ODI) and similar processes to collect opportunity data, lead analysis and guide the overall strategy for your product group
Lead the planning of product testing and discovery activities such as concept generation workshops, UX research, co-creation working sessions, and feedback panels
Partner with SME for product ideation to determine best use cases for concept testing
Seek to understand the feature desirability
Contribute to research and discussion guides
Responsibilities may include other duties as assigned
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience as a Product Manager / R&D Product Lead in Medical Device or Healthcare companies
Have a clear understanding of User Experience Design & Strategy
Able to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong negotiation, conflict management, and influence management skills
Communicate clearly, in written, verbal and visual forms, being equally facile with technical and nontechnical team members
Ability to quickly understand and become proficient in domain knowledge
Experience conducting user testing / user research
Working knowledge of diabetes therapy, clinical data, business plans and competitive products
