Position Summary
Provides administrative support to assigned sales specialists within the division by performing various duties related to procedural scheduling, customer service and other activities as directed. This position will be responsible for scheduling all procedures (Angio, IR, EP) at designated accounts within their region. The role requires extensive interaction with physician offices, hospitals, clinics, and outside vendors to ensure successful execution of procedures.
Responsibilities:
Schedule cases in advance at designated sites based on product specialist requests.
Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and meals for physicians and guests.
Communicate and coordinate with hospital administration, nursing staff, and physician assistants regarding scheduling, logistics, and facility needs.
Act as liaison between product specialists and sales reps, providing updates and feedback as needed.
Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies/equipment at designated sites.
Provide back-up support to product specialists and sales representatives as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to case scheduling, inventory, and other relevant information.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Bard policies and procedures.
Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive, organized, and proactive approach to all interactions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in healthcare or medical device industry required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
Ability to travel extensively throughout territory (approximately 75%-80%).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
