At Aegis Healthcare we are expanding our Atlas Medical Care team and are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Quality Assurance Clinical Specialist who shares our desire to make healthcare better for everyone.

SCHEDULE: M-F 8am to 5pm

Job Summary



  • Documentation Review: Conduct thorough reviews of clinical and chart documentation to ensure compliance with Aegis policies, state and federal regulations, and payor requirements.

  • Quality Improvement: Implement quality improvement initiatives based on data analysis and identified trends. Monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives.

  • Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to clinical staff on documentation best practices, compliance standards, and quality improvement processes.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to relevant regulatory bodies. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Quality Assurance and other department heads to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

  • Leadership: Lead and participate in quality assurance projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.


Desired Skills & Qualifications



  • 1+ year of home health, hospice, or other medical related experience

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely

  • Demonstrate high level of contribution in accuracy, quality, completeness and volume of work

  • Service oriented mindset

  • Adaptive problem-solving skills

  • Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.

  • Proof of current auto insurance & car registration

  • Ability to pass Criminal Background Check

  • Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)

  • Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
