Responsible for effectively communicating product and clinical benefits of Barostim therapy to cardiologists, heart failure/hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons to ensure their understanding of the therapy.

Facilitate trainings and other programs on proper application of Barostim therapy to clinicians, office, and hospital staff.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implant procedures, follow-up procedures, titrations, and patient office visits to ensure positive clinical outcomes.

Work with Territory Managers in developing effective plans to communicate the benefits of our technology, tailored to specific markets.

Work with Territory Managers, key physicians and site staff in the development and execution of a plan to effectively launch CVRx programs at new customer sites and ensure ongoing commitment to the program.

Drive utilization and continuous expansion of Barostim therapy through disease state education and supporting the development of therapeutic programs.

Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.

Meet with existing and potential health care providers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, providing creative and feasible solutions.

Adheres to sales management processes and reporting systems usage, including maintaining an accurate record of devices and programmers at all times in Salesforce.

Provide additional back-up support to other field staff as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with products for cardiology or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices; heart failure experience will be prioritized

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff.
- Ability to master concepts of a medical and surgical nature, as well as that of active implantable medical device technology
- Independent, self-motivated, self-starter with the drive and persistence to introduce a novel and innovative technology to the market and support it becoming the standard of care

Must be detail-oriented, reliable and able to work independently

Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Salesforce, content management, learning management, and other systems as needed
PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE

An advanced degree in a related field.

Clinical Healthcare experience is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of heart failure or cardiovascular market with understanding of competitive devices, strategies, advantages/disadvantages as they relate to the company’s devices
WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is remote-based and will require the candidate to live within the territory and/or region specified

This position will require interfacing with multiple internal departments and physicians, physician investigators, customers, and patients

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. comfortably

Ability to travel 60% or more, some overnights may be required.
