Job Title: Clinical Specialist – Start-up Medical Device
Position Summary:
My client has a disruptive technology used in the detection of cancer. They need to hire a FT Clinical Specialist to provide case coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service and education for my client’s products.
Position Responsibility:
Maintains current knowledge about assigned products and services as well as competitive products and disease states.
Attends internal/external education meetings and reads appropriate professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency.
Provides availability for assignments providing clinical support and training for my client’s products.
Stays current on the latest clinical data relating to all of my client’s products.
Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to products and therapies. This is achieved by coordinating: one-on-one sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums.
Experience/Requirements
RN, PA, NP or similar clinical credentialing required.
Must be licensed Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with at least 5 + years working in the acute care space.
Previous industry experience in industry as Clinical Specialist preferred.
Effective communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff, Sales, Marketing and Global Franchise Leaders.
Effective teaching skills with ability to translate complex instructions clearly.
Ability to work with precision, accuracy and high attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
This is a field position and will require 50% travel.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
