The Opportunity

This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Division in Alameda, CA. We are helping people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. As a global leader in diabetes care, Abbott is constantly working to deliver the highest quality products and unwavering support to our customers. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we are committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.

As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for processing contract transactions in national and major retail channels and consumer access programs. The position ensures accuracy of calculations and payments within contractual terms and conditions. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Process administrative contract transactions across all channels and ensure accuracy of calculations and payments within contractual terms and conditions.
  • Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine action to rectify contract noncompliance.
  • Process miscellaneous price credits/debits and resolve other contractual discrepancies.
  • Track and report rebates claim and payments status
  • Analyze and answer customer service queries regarding sales pricing operations
  • Manage aged deductions and work with receivables management to resolve disputed claims.
  • Interface with other functional groups to ensure consistency and integrity in contract processing.
  • Support audit and compliance requests

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • A minimum of 2 years related work experience.
  • Ability to understand the organization’s strategy and translate into day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to facilitate interpretation and understanding of data, identify risks, develop recommendations and implement solutions.
  • Ability to build and develop professional relationships within and outside of the work environment.
  • Ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Ability or aptitude to utilize software application to complete tasks.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Pivot Tables, excel functions, dealing with large data sets

The base pay for this position is

$79,500.00 – $138,700.00
