Territory Sales Manager – NSW (Sydney based)

About the Role

As a Territory Manager, you will take full ownership of your region, driving sales growth, expanding adoption of our technologies, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. You will manage both capital and consumable sales, lead product implementations, and act as a trusted advisor to clinical and administrative stakeholders.

This is a high‑impact role suited to someone who thrives on autonomy, relationship‑building, and delivering meaningful value to healthcare providers.

What You’ll Do

Territory Management

  • Own the overall performance of your territory, ensuring revenue, profitability, and account objectives are achieved.
  • Develop strategic territory plans by account to grow business and secure new customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely quarterly forecasts.
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional teams, especially Clinical Specialists, to support evaluations and drive clinical adoption.
  • Ensure contract compliance and maintain strong ongoing relationships with existing customers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions when required.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date CRM data, including contacts, activities, and pipeline opportunities.

Product Sales & Adoption

  • Use analytical tools to identify and target high‑value new business opportunities.
  • Engage key influencers to understand needs and demonstrate how our technologies add value.
  • Educate customers on product capabilities, clinical concepts, industry trends, and competitive insights.
  • Build strong clinical, technical, and economic champions within accounts.
  • Lead product evaluations, deliver compelling presentations, and collect key decision‑making data.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary hospital meetings to align stakeholders and support purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare quotations for equipment and consumables; negotiate local agreements that meet customer and business needs.
  • Drive urgency around capital budgeting to secure funding allocations.
  • Act as Project Manager for post‑sale implementation—including installation planning, software integration coordination, and validation activities, both virtually and on‑site.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Marketing by providing structured product and customer feedback.
  • Attend industry events and continuous training to stay current on clinical practice, scientific developments, and competitive innovations.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support internal product development initiatives by sharing customer insights and unmet needs.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders and maintain a strong expert network.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring – Candidate Profile

Education

  • Master’s degreePreferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior sales role, ideally as a Key Account Manager within the medical device industry – Preferred
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated success managing strategic customers and building long‑term relationships
  • Proven track record in solution selling, including understanding of clinical workflows, economic value drivers, and multi‑stakeholder decision dynamics
  • Ability to influence clinical and executive stakeholders, navigate complex environments, and develop customer loyalty
  • Skilled at strategic planning, pipeline development, and delivering accurate forecasts
  • Comfortable working autonomously in the field while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
